About Me.
My name is Juliana Allan, but you can call me Julie!

I am currently a Masters student at The New School, pursuing a degree in Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism. I have also completed a BFA in Illustration for Publication Design with minors in Art History and Creative Writing at the Savannah College of Art and Design. As an avid reader from a young age, and with varied interests, working in a creative career provides me with endless opportunities for expression and development through active engagement that aren’t easily found elsewhere.

My goal with my work is to tell stories! In any, and every way that I can, I want to tell stories.
I had a history teacher that taught us everything in a narrative format. In his classroom historical figures would be calling each other on the phone and having funny conversations. Everything made so much more sense when it was told to me as a story. And that is exactly what I want to do, change the way people see stories, and make it into a vessel of learning.
